Upper Darby (5-5 Central League and Overall Record) battled its way back to the .500 mark with a pair of victories this past week. The Royals carved out their winning ways with an offense that was both efficient and prolific.
Earlier in the week, Upper Darby unloaded on Penncrest for 17 runs. The Royals dominated this game from the start with a great effort over the first three innings. During those frames Upper Darby bombarded the Lions with ten runs.

Two years’ worth of frustration were vented by the Upper Darby baseball team in the second inning Tuesday.

The Royals posted a seven-spot, running out to an 11-4 win over Lower Merion that is the program’s first victory since 2013.
Nate Rimel doubled and drove in two runs, and Chris Anderson drove in three in support of Nolan Ward and Dominic Ervin, who combined on the win for the Royals.
